Men jailed over night-time raid on the wrong Coatbridge home
In October 2026, three men were jailed for a combined total of almost 14 years after admitting housebreaking with intent to rob at a family home in Coatbridge. The couple who lived there were in bed at around 2.40am on 27 September 2024; the man the gang were looking for lived a few doors away. CCTV and forensic evidence linked the men to the break-in.
