Outdoor Alarm Sensors & Perimeter Protection
Outdoor sensors for gardens, driveways, gates, garages and sheds, linked to your house alarm and app for an earlier warning.
Perimeter protection adds outdoor sensors to your burglar alarm, so it can pick up someone in your garden, driveway or outbuildings before they reach the house. Bunker fits outdoor alarm sensors across Glasgow and Central Scotland, as part of a new alarm or added to an existing one where the control panel allows it.
Where outdoor sensors are used
- Rear gardens and side paths
- Driveways and courtyards
- Gates and other entry points, using weatherproof contacts
- Garages, sheds and outbuildings
How outdoor detection works
Outdoor detectors are built for outside use. They're weatherproof, and they use detection technology designed to reduce false alarms from animals. They connect to your alarm like any other detector, so they can trigger the alarm and send an alert to your phone through the app.
Placement matters. Outdoor sensors need to cover the routes someone would take to your doors and windows, without looking out over a public pavement or road. We'll recommend positions when we quote.
Garages and sheds
Garages and sheds often hold bikes, tools and garden machinery. A dual-tech sensor for garages and sheds can be added to any alarm package for an indicative £100.
Combine with CCTV
Outdoor sensors tell you something is happening. Cameras show you what. Adding home CCTV, from £450 (indicative), lets you check the footage on your phone. Night vision CCTV cameras keep recording after dark.
Prices
Outdoor sensors are priced to suit your property. A dual-tech garage or shed sensor is £100 (indicative), and alarm packages start from £380 fitted. Use the instant alarm quote or call 0141 478 0960, and we'll confirm the price before any work starts.
