Systems which are not regularly used and have not been serviced are vulnerable to issues, especially battery faults. Conveniently, these issues will nearly always present in the middle of the night ensuring home owners and their neighbours are woken to the chirp of a faulty siren!

We recently disconnected an alarm in Kirkintilloch which had been operating since 1991, and another alarm disconnection in Glasgow which was probably even older!
